William “Ty” Lancaster is a dedicated advocate for restorative justice and community healing. Since joining The Ahimsa Collective in 2016, he has served as a facilitator in the Realize and Victim Offender Dialogue (VOD) programs, guiding individuals through accountability, healing, and reconciliation.
In Realize, Ty helps those who have caused harm take responsibility and break cycles of violence. In VOD, he facilitates structured dialogues between survivors and offenders, fostering understanding and closure. His ability to hold space for deep emotions makes him an invaluable part of this work.

As Property Manager/Caretaker at the Santa Cruz Healing & Justice Center, Ty ensures the space remains a peaceful sanctuary for transformation. From tending gardens to preparing spaces for restorative circles, his stewardship reflects his belief that healing is deeply connected to physical surroundings.
Through his work, Ty has helped countless individuals take responsibility for their actions and find a path toward healing. Committed to expanding restorative justice and mentoring others, he continues to ensure that spaces for healing thrive. His work is a testament to the idea that justice is not about punishment but about accountability, healing, and transformation.
